Most people starting out on the Internet subscribe to and often promote affiliate programs…and that’s a good thing!
It’s a great learning experience and an income generator as well!
However, in my opinion, “naked” affiliate links look ugly and just “scream” affiliate link!
In fact, because most people are downright plain lazy or they don’t know any better they will just “copy and paste” their generated affiliate link into an email blast and purchase viagra online hope to make sales…
Now what this tells me is that they are not true marketers (not truly understanding or caring about their “list”) and are not utilizing technology and it’s efficiencies to their best use…
So, I spend the few extra moments that it takes in making the links that I use carry a meaning as well as look pretty – and increase the chances of “my opt in (buy) rate”…
For example:
Instead of using the affiliate URL that was originally generated by the excellent affiliate program – Nitro Marketing – which I love and promote – http://www.NitroQuattro.com/g.o/mhuber
I instead make it into this:
http://SuccessOnTheFly.com/with/TheQuattroSystem.html
